AXON BREEZE
A Thriving Sky LP Launch
Altar Bar
November 27
Tickets - $25 Pre / $30 Door

Doom-club antagonists AXON BREEZE (Nipaluna/Hobart) to launch debut LP A Thriving Sky at Altar Bar on November 27.

"The most intriguing and wild project on the Australian underground" —Evil Metal MX

Emerging from a shared love of extreme metal and distorted club electronics, JR Brennan and Sam Dowson bring their unhinged hybrid metal to Altar Bar for a one-off night of performance and mayhem to launch their debut album. Recorded across Australia, Guatemala and Mexico with co-producer Aaron Cupples (The Drones, Spiritualized), the album arrives after a year of radio play, festival acclaim and underground buzz.

A Thriving Sky explores the hidden ecology of beauty, where desire, violence and dependence are constantly at war. Live, Axon Breeze pushes at the edges of heavy music - intense bursts of post-punk and hyperpop bridged with unholy passages of doom. Their world is organised around an inverted gothic: softness where you expect armour, sensuality where you expect force. If you've ever wanted to collapse the mosh pit and the dancefloor, this is your night.

Local and interstate supports announced shortly.
