KINA (JPN)
Kina:suttsu is a Japanese experimental artist whose practice combines music, performance, visual art, and film. Using saxophone, electronics, noise, and field recordings, she creates immersive performances that blur the boundaries between ancient ritual and contemporary experimental music. 

Since releasing her first album in 2005, she has performed and exhibited internationally. Her releases include music on labels in the UK and France, including a cassette as NAVU and a collaborative release with Phil MFU, ZONGAMIN,E-D (ex.Boredoms, see feel). She has also recorded with legendary bassist Jah Wobble and released a live recording with Damo Suzuki. 

In 2021, she appeared in and composed the soundtrack for British filmmaker Daisy Dickinson’s short film Kaki no Shizuku, which was selected for the Los Angeles Film Awards. Recent activities include touring Georgia, Turkey, and the UK with E-Da, releasing her first solo recording, and continuing collaborations across Europe and Japan. 

Last year, a cassette tape was released on a French label under the name Kina:suttsu + E-Da.
